Conference Theme:Sustainable Solutions for Emerging Issues in Biological Sciences

Commencing its journey in 2013, the Department of Bioinformatics & Biosciences (BI&BS), Faculty of Health and Life Sciences (FoHLS) at Capital University of Science & Technology (CUST), Islamabad, has perpetuated its legacy by orchestrating the 11th edition of C-BICS in 2023. The focal objective of C-BICS 2023 is to establish a platform for distinguished intellects engaged in diverse realms of biological research. The theme of the conference is to provide sustainable solutions for existing & emerging issues in life sciences. This initiative aids in comprehending various strata of living organisms, fostering inventive concepts and remedies, and enhancing tools and methodologies for food production, clean environment, disease detection, prevention, and treatment - all aimed at ameliorating the overall quality of life. The conference will target a paradigm shift in biological systems to explore new avenues in compliance with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

  • Attach the proof of studentship if an applicant is registering as a student e.g. copy of student card.
  • Attach the receipt of payment of registration fee along with the form.
  • In case multiple abstracts are being registered by a single author, the first abstract will be charged full fee while 50% registration fee will be waived for remaining all others abstracts.

    ABOUT US

    The objective of the Department of Bioinformatics and BioSciences(BI&BS), Faculty of Health Sciences and Life Sciences (FoHLS) at Capital University of Science & Technology (CUST) is to offer education and instruction across various levels, aiming to add to the global reservoir of proficient professionals in broad range of multidisciplinary domains of bioinformatics and biosciences. These experts are essential to fulfill the requirements of both the industry and the academic sphere. The undergraduate program (BS Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry) is primarily centered on equipping students for roles such as research scientists in academia and industry. In contrast, the graduate (MS) and doctorate (PhD) programs in Biosciences are designed to ready individuals for careers in relevant fields.
